About the product

What are Ankhway Mushroom Gummies?

Ankhway Mushroom Gummies are raspberry-flavoured vegan gummies containing ten fruiting-body mushrooms: Lion's Mane, Cordyceps, Reishi, Chaga, Tremella, Shiitake, Maitake, Black Fungus, White Button and Royal Sun. A serving is two gummies: 2,500 mg of mushrooms per serving, from 10 mushrooms, each a 10:1 extract: 250 mg of each mushroom (mushroom equivalent). They are a food supplement made by Ankhway, a London company founded in 2023.

What are the full ingredients?

Mushrooms: 2,500 mg of mushrooms per serving, from 10 mushrooms, each a 10:1 extract. That's 250 mg of each mushroom (mushroom equivalent): Lion's Mane, Cordyceps, Chaga, Maitake, Shiitake, Reishi, Tremella, Royal Sun, Black Fungus, White Button. Other ingredients: glucose syrup, sugar, glucose, pectin, citric acid, natural raspberry flavour, sodium citrate, fruit and vegetable juice concentrate, glazing agent (sunflower oil, carnauba wax).

How much sugar is in Ankhway gummies?

About 5 g of sugar per two-gummy serving, roughly the amount of sugar in six grapes. It counts as free sugar, so it is about a sixth of the 30 g maximum the NHS recommends for adults each day. We use a small amount of ordinary sugar (glucose syrup, sugar and glucose) instead of sugar alcohols such as maltitol or xylitol, and there are no intense sweeteners.

Why do you use sugar instead of sugar alcohols or sweeteners?

Mushroom extracts taste bitter, and we wanted a gummy people enjoy without sugar alcohols (polyols). In large amounts, polyols such as maltitol and sorbitol can cause wind, bloating and diarrhoea, and UK labelling rules say foods with more than 10% added polyols must carry the warning 'excessive consumption may produce laxative effects'. Xylitol, another polyol, is extremely harmful to dogs and can be fatal, so keep anything containing it away from pets. A little real sugar was our choice. If you're avoiding sugar, a sugar-free gummy may suit you better.

Do Ankhway gummies contain sugar?

Yes. Each two-gummy serving has about 5 g of sugar. If you need to limit sugar, a sugar-free product may suit you better. Ask your GP first if you're unsure.

Are Ankhway gummies vegan?

Yes. They are made with pectin rather than gelatin and contain no animal ingredients. They also contain no palm oil.

Are these magic mushrooms?

No. Ankhway gummies contain edible mushrooms such as Lion's Mane, Shiitake and Reishi. They contain no psychoactive mushrooms or ingredients.

Fruiting body or mycelium?

Ankhway uses only fruiting-body extracts, the part of the mushroom you would recognise as a mushroom, not mycelium grown on rice or grain.

Do mushroom gummies treat any health condition?

No. Ankhway Mushroom Gummies are a food supplement, not a medicine. If you're worried about your health, speak to your GP.

We don't sell on eBay, so any eBay seller offering Ankhway isn't us. Listings on marketplaces may not be genuine. The 60-day guarantee applies to orders placed on ankhway.com.

Who is behind Ankhway?

Ankhway was started by two brothers who grew up in Asia and later moved to London. Their mum had taken mushroom supplements for years, and the idea came from the gummy vitamins they loved as kids: they put £8,000, all they had, into their first mushroom gummies and packed orders at their parents' house. Ankhway is the trading name of ATC MN LTD, a UK company (Companies House no. 14859507), 128 City Road, London EC1V 2NX. Read more about us at ankhway.com/pages/about-ankhway.
